LinCal Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By connecting your Linear account and using the LinCal application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LinCal is an experimental application in public beta that provides a calendar interface for visualizing and managing Linear issues. The Service allows you to:
- View your Linear issues with and without due dates in a calendar format.
- Create new issues directly from the calendar.
- Drag & Drop issues on the calendar to change a due date
- Filter issues by team, project, state, and assignee.
- Synchronize data with your Linear workspace in real time.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and its features and functionality may change without notice.
3. Linear Integration and Data
LinCal integrates with the Linear API using OAuth to access your workspace data. By using the Service, you grant LinCal read and write permissions to your Linear account. We access and process the following data:
- Linear issues, projects, cycles, and teams.
- User-specific settings and filter configurations.
We use a PostgreSQL database to store user settings and activity tracking data. All data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Adhere to Linear's own Terms of Service.
- Be responsible for all activity under your Linear account.
- Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Not attempt to circumvent any security measures or access data you are not authorized to view.
5. Limitation of Liability
You understand and agree that LinCal is in public beta and is provided without warranties of any kind. LinCal will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of data or business interruption, arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the Service, including the LinCal name, logo, and all content and code, are the exclusive property of Fresh van Root.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if you violate these Terms of Service. You can terminate your use of the Service at any time by revoking your Linear OAuth token.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
