2. Information We Collect

LinCal is designed to be a private and secure tool for your Linear workflow. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, contact information.

We use your Linear user ID and the email address associated with it as the primary identifier to isolate and manage your settings.

3. Data We Store

We store the following information to provide a persistent and customized user experience:

• User Activities: We track user login sessions and the start time of each session for engagement analytics. We record your Linear user ID as the primary identifier to track user sessions.
• User Settings: We store your user id, workspace id. This data is saved to a PostgreSQL database and persists across login sessions.
• Linear Data: We access and display your Linear issues, their details (title, description, due date), and other related information (assignee ID, team, labels) from the Linear API. This data is currently cached in-memory and not stored in our database.
• Web Analytics: We use the privacy-focused analytics software Fathom to track user engagement and sessions without collecting any personally identifiable information.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect solely to provide and improve the LinCal service.

• Your Linear user ID is used to link your settings and filter preferences to your sessions, ensuring your custom views are consistent.
• Session analytics helps us understand user engagement and how the app's functionality and user experience.
• User settings are used to maintain your display preferences and filter configurations, so the app looks and feels the way you left it.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on two legal grounds:

• Performance of a Contract: The processing is necessary to provide you with the LinCal service as requested by you.
• Legitimate Interests: We have a legitimate interest in using your data for service analytics and to improve the app's functionality and user experience.

6. Data Retention

We will retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you revoke LinCal's access from your Linear account, your stored data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

As a user, you have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You have the right to have any inaccurate data corrected.
• Right to Erasure: You have the right to request that your data be deleted.
